Vacation

So for the past week my cousins have been living at my house... We had a lot of fun starry our dear old friend Rosie O'Donnell! For example... Wyatt mentioned that we had 4 cups for 5 people, then she's like "well you'll have to get it yourself" then walked away and left us laughing. Grandpa didn't even know the metal cups we had even existed! We went out to the bonfire and made some smores and Thom was to impatient to actually roast the mallows! When Thom's water kept getting knocked over Rosie is like "well you'll have to get it yourself" again because he said it all spilled or something & Syd's like "I'm not getting it! I already had to get my own." Rosie was all apologetic and what not. Earlier that same day we went to the track & feed some hungry children at the park some Skittles that got sacrificed during our game of tag. Then later we attempted to do the same thing, but on purpose with popcorn... That, however, didn't work out as well... Then at night Syd was the only one to continuously get yelled at by Rosie, even though we all were pretty much making noises... I think it was just because she kept giggling. My party was this past Saturday which was fun when I stopped having to talk to EVERYONE! A lot of people mainly liked the chicken fajitas vs the tacos. The chips and cheese queso were pretty popular as well. We also had a bonfire because it was a lil bit chilly outside... O.o  On Monday we claimed that we were going to Barnes & Noble, but instead we went & had some fun at Dave & Busters! It was pretty fun... We mainly just got candyy... One of my favorite games is this virtual jumprope called "Jumpin' Jackpot" and at Brunswick Zone I finally won the jackpot after coming so close for so long! =D We used our earnings for candy & giant tennis balls! We also pwned (in Thom's language... The word that means: Pure Ownage as used in online gaming to stress your superiority on all levels. Spawned from the root word pwn, which originated as a misspelling of the word own. Hence this stupid word is two screw-ups away from anything close to english. So Ha Thom! It's totally a made up word!) in laser tag! Me & Wyatt were told to be on the team we despised so we got these lil kids to switch with us. At first we weren't gonna shoot them with our laser guns (or as the instructional video says "tazer") until they started shooting at us! Those lil kids were really good! O.o We also ate at our Grandma's favorite restaurant Latuff's which has sadly switched locations. It twas a bit odd. Thom's (and a lil of Wyatt's) lil phrases where funny at first then just got plain annoying. "We established that already!" "You are ___"  "You do ___" ... Anyway, on their final day here we celebrated Wyatt's Birthday plus Lynn & Shawn's Anniversary! Then we went to Lick's Unlimited (our Grandpa's Ice Cream Store and now my job location) for some ice cream (superman, twist, fat elvis, chocolate raspberry truffle, and mackinac island fudge) it was delish! Then we had to drop them off at the airport... While it was a fun trip, it didn't seem long enough. Now time to convince the mother for an August trip to MA... That should be fun...

What Else Do I Care About?

CATS! Personally I like cats and small dogs. If I where to have a dog I want a Morkie because the stay small (it's a yorkie and Maltese mix), but seeing as I don't own a Morkie I, instead, own 3 cats! (well they're family cats... me, my bro and sis each have one) Mine - Snuggles, Wyatt - Snowflake, Sydney - Tommy (Tom Tom). I love our lil kitties because they all like to chill out, explore, cuddle and, of course, play! Well, sometimes their playing leads to fighting, but since when is that surprising?! Our 3 lovely kitties are all soft too! It's one of the factors that makes petting them that much more delightful! The other factors have to do with the kitties purring, meowing happily and the cats just get plain happy! They love to play with string, cat nip filled toys, balls (bouncy balls especially) and of course with us and each other. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Last night I attended the HBP for the second time, but with my cousins. I was glad to see it again because I loved the fact that they made the dark story with some comedy thrown in at the right places! Some things I wish they would've done some stuff different, but when isn't that the case with a book to movie translation?! After all it would be kinda hard to fit everything in when the entertainment companies don't want to make movies too long for people to want to see it! Anyway, that's beside the point. Some people (who haven't read the books, I might add) thought that the movie was slow and lacked the thrill and excitement of a huge battle sequence and other intriguing factors the saw in the other movies. I've read a point someone made about WB and the movie cast/crew not wanting fighting to seem really repetitive since in the next 2 movies there will be a lot of battles. I agree with that statement, but at the same time believe a repetitive battle sequence would've been better the the random see they made up of the Weasley's house getting destroyed by Death Eaters! I also don't understand how Harry will find the Diadem in one the the next movies due to the fact that Harry wasn't the one to hind the HBP's potions book in the Room of Requirement (ROR) underneath the diadem and some other stuff... Ginny hid the book! Plus the weren't supposed to have there first kiss in the ROR either... That part didn't really bother me as much, but it was just something else that I noticed... (SPOILER ALERT) I hope that in the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (the 7th movie...) they have Dumbledore's funeral... I kinda liked the end of the HBP book when Harry was just walking off into the distance getting bothered by the minister (bother bother bother - bothering Snape - PPP)... I hope they show a lot more details in the Deathly Hallows considering the one book will be 2 movies... Anyway, for those who didn't read the book I feel bad that you don't understand the true meaning of the whole movie and why it was the way it was... The readers for the most part thought that it was one of the better of the 6 movies while only the movie watchers found it slow and that it lacked a sense of action. (SPOILER ALERT) Yes Dumbledore was killed easily, but that's the way it was supposed to happen. It was the way the book was written. For those who only watch the movies... I'm sorry that you don't see eye to eye with everyone else.

Arcade Games

So today we attended Dave and Busters. At first I played this virtual jumprope by the name of "Jumpin' Jackpot" I believe. Then I tried my luck at the Wheel of Fortune, Cyclone, Skee-ball, then finally ended with one final game. I don't know the name of the game, but basically you push a button and try to time it right in order to get a range of tickets from 2-100+. Once someone gets the jackpot the value is worth 100 tickets and the more people play and don't get it the jackpot increases! O.o My cousin didn't succeed in getting the jackpot he allowed to get up to 130, but he did, however, get the balls into the 50 ticket spot several times! We both came out of that game with a fair amount of tickets. he ended up spending the tickets on candy and a lil D & B ball. IN the lil store they have, there is a cool lil mini arcade game dealio that has old arcade games the Pac Man! :) It's real expensive, but go figure! I think it would be really cool to have one of those to place in the family's bar. Well on to the next segment in our lives.

The Random Spaz

So I have this cousin. His name is Thom (pronounced the way it's spelled).  He's a total spaz! I have a pretty funny video of him leaving a message for someone in one of his really odd voices... He's sort of a disturbed child who believes lights should not be dimmed (unless it saves energy... or power... I don't know) meaning the lights need to be on or off... Hmm... My brother is unfortunately picking up on Thom's bad habits... Fortunately he isn't nearly as obnoxious as Thom... I think he gets like that because he plays video games all the time! Plus he plays them like less then a foot away from his face! Ah well...
